Early snow

Usually the first snow falls here in January. Last year we had a very cold winter, cold winters are expensive, not only because of the heating. When there’s snow the sheep need much more food. We bought some extra-luxury hay, that’s for horses. We couldn’t get anything cheaper. The sheep love that hay.

I already bought our christmas present, a new kerosene heater.

At least the first powder snow looks good in the sun.
