First autumn storms

It’s very nice to sit inside, drink tea and upload photos to Wikimedia Commons. But it’s not so great to fear, that the trees in front of the house will fall on the house. The dogs get bored and sheep complain, because they can’t eat the fresh fallen chestnuts. Yesterday we had gusts of 85 km/h (52.82 mph). The wind has thrown dead leaves everywhere. Bad wind. And it has thrown a tree on the way that leads out of the property. It wants me to stay at home? This afternoon we’ll get thunderstorm and gusts up to 65 km/h (40.39 mph). Give me a break, wind!

This tree had three trunks, one broke earlier this year (in June?) and fell over the path. Own photo, licence: public domain

Maybe the wind tried to keep me safe by blocking the path against intruders? Own photo, licence: public domain
