Brad’s red plastic bowl

Brad prefers the red plastic bowl over any other bowl and Kleines agrees with him. Berta prefers the blue plastic bowl. But Brad says: “any bowl is good if it contains dry sheepfood.” (The Wisdom of Brad, Sheep Editions 2012) The other sheep agree with this proverb and thus feeding time can be tumultuous. We got a hayrack and I use it. But some of the sheep don’t want to eat with the others. Kleines for example, refuses to eat anything that was touched by someone else except her daughter Knubbel. And Knubbel wants to eat from the same bowl as her mother. Kleines is the fattest sheep I got. I know it’s my fault, I spoiled her. She was so extraordinarily small when she was a baby. She was the third lamb and the third lamb gets no teat.

Kleines already gave up about the red bowl. Brad has touched it with his filthy mouth. SHE said that, not me. Brad has a rather cute mouth if you ask me. Knubbel doesn't mind Brad, her mother has been eating from this bowl. That means it must be a good bowl. Own photo, licence: CC by-SA/ Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Unported

Another day, same problem. Knubbel pokes her head into Brad's bowl. He's appalled. How can this girl use his bowl? Own photo, licence: CC by-SA/ Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Unported

Bowl-sharing is better than no food though. Own photo, licence: CC by-SA/ Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Unported

  1. I can hardly tell which one is Brad now!

  2. Tststs, it’s the one on the right.

  3. Oh, the complexities. Doesn’t look like any of them are suffering too deeplyčśë

    • Nono, they don’t suffer at all. If anybody suffers, it’s me, if they step on my toes. But I’m not suffering too deeply either.
